Ashley and Tyler are not exactly on good terms, despite once getting married on Love Is Blind. They left the Netflix show happily married, despite some drama to do with Tyler’s sperm donor situation, but that happiness sadly came to an end.

Ashley and Tyler left Love Is Blind as a happily married couple, but they split two months after he spilled the truth on what happened with his paternity scandal. He maintained that he was a sperm donor rather than a father figure, after pictures emerged with his children.
“I wasn’t active so it’s hard for people to say, ‘He was active, there are pictures, there are videos,’” he shared on the Dear Future Wifey podcast. “To take these pictures over the past five, six years, you can make it look like I’m very active, and they’re doing that.”
“I do just wish I told Ashley upfront and let her make that decision,” he admitted. “She’s happy. I’m not holding her down. I don’t have her handcuffed. She’s a very strong, intelligent woman who makes great decisions her entire life.”
“That was me trying to avoid,” he said. “As I said it to avoid, I realized we were filming, so that night, as soon as cameras stopped, I was like ‘Okay.’ We had conversations off camera.” Then, Ashley decided to split from Tyler in January, three months after their season aired.
Ashley wrote in an announcement: “I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.”
Drama erupted when Ashley spoke about their divorce
Ashley revealed on the What’s The Reality podcast that she “found the truth herself” and revealed: “When I searched that computer, I found the motherload. I was looking at this man like, ‘Who are you?’ It was so dark. It was like unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.”
“Anything that you say in the pods or anything that you say while filming is law. It’s vital that you stick to it. I even go back and forth in my head if he ever loved me, they don’t think the love is real from Love Is Blind but it is,” Ashley added.
She said how “this was someone I made vows with” and who she “had to see it through with” but Ashley has now come out to say that they split because of Tyler being a sperm donor and the secrecy surrounding it, which was a vital part of the show.

Tyler is now getting ready to have his say… and is “thinking” about speaking on a podcast. He’s stayed mostly silent since Ashley spoke publicly about their divorce, and has mostly been just sharing pictures of him playing sports, but said he “might have to” speak out.
He shared to his Instagram Story that he’s ready to speak out on his and Ashley’s divorce.When Ashley first found out about Tyler being a sperm donor to multiple children, she “felt robbed of not having the full picture”. Even once they’d gotten married, she had doubts.
When a commenter said he looks so happy, Tyler just responded, “I was surrounded by amazing people.” He also liked a comment from someone who said, “I hope you find a woman who shares your vision, who protects your beautiful heart and honours your peace.”
