Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause are suddenly having major drama, despite a close-knit friendship on Selling Sunset from the moment they met. It’s all because of Emma’s new boyfriend, apparently, and tbh it’s not what I had on my bingo card for 2025.
Emma and Chrishell were Selling Sunset BFFs
Emma and Chrishell have never had a problem with each other, despite being on multiple Selling Sunset seasons. They bonded over their dislike for Christine Quinn, but people lurking on their social media have noticed that the usual hangouts and comments are long gone.
The last known time they were spotted together was at Beyonce’s concert, which was a while ago. It was always Emma and Chrishell against Christine from the moment Emma joined the Netflix show, and then they had each other’s backs during the drama with Nicole Young.
Nicole had spread rumours that Emma was having an affair with a married man, which she denied. Basically, Chrishell and Emma have always had each other’s backs, even when Chrishell married Australian singer, G Flip, and Emma met her man.
However, recent events mean that their friendship has taken a nosedive. A source told TMZ that Emma still loves Chrishell and “will continue to be a cheerleader for Chrishell and G’s relationship,” despite not having time to catch up lately.
Chrishell called Emma’s new boyfriend out
Chrishell hasn’t held back in calling out Emma’s boyfriend, Blake Davis, who she’s been on-and-off with for a while. In a video, Chrishell was asked: “What’s happening with you and Emma? Hot topic on Reddit.” Chrishell, brutally, replied: “Ask her about her MAGA boyfriend.”
She also claimed he “told me pronouns are dumb and that he likes to use the N word. I just can’t with that. Too old to allow that in. But love her from afar.” So basically, it’s all because of Emma’s boyfriend that her and Chrishell’s friendship is a goner.
Blake claimed he’s met Chrishell “a handful of times” in a Mail Online interview, the last being “a year-and-a-half ago.” He said: “The meeting at Ms Stause’s home took place in January 2024, this was the last time I saw or spoke to Ms Stause. We’re barely acquaintances.”
He went on to say that he and Chrishell “have never discussed political views.” Emma’s boyfriend added that he “does not use derogatory language about anyone” and that they “know very little about each other’s lives and beliefs.”
