All the Mormon Wives who got extreme plastic surgery and the whopping amounts they spent
One star was awake during a whole procedure
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars’ worlds have been changing right before our very eyes. And, it turns out their marriages and bank balances aren’t the only things undergoing some tweaks since season one. Some of the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars have opted for some extreme plastic surgery – and they’ve spent some whopping amounts on the work, too. Reality Shrine estimates just how much they’ve spent after deep diving into the things they’ve visited the doctor’s office for.
Jessi Ngatikaura – $47k

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi has not held back when it comes to divulging the cosmetic work she’s opted for in life.
She took to Instagram to share how she got a nose job, underwent a CO2 laser, and told the world she wanted to “look plastic and fake,” in another post with her sister in February last year.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jessi also told Daily Mail her true feelings about opting for surgery to get a “designer vagina,” which can cost between $2,500 and $5,000 per Cascade Cosmetic Surgery.
She said she wanted to get the work done as part of her ‘mommy makeover’ and added: “So just the fact that I could help women or moms who are struggling with that insecurity, and it does cause a lot of physical discomfort, so I was really happy to share that, and I’m an open book, so I’m happy that people related.”
Shockingly, Jessi’s also gone for surgical procedures while awake. Speaking to Virtual RealiTea, she said of a weir excision: “It wasn’t a full nose job, it was just tucking it a little…”
“They just numbed me,” she added of the nostril tweak.
Jessi also documented her nose job and CO2 laser procedures on IG back in March. She thanked her surgeon for her “dream nose.”
The cost of CO2 laser resurfacing in Utah ranges from $1,500 to $3,500 per session, according to Transcend Rejuvenation.
Per People, Jessi’s nose procedures would have set her back at least $2,000, but could have cost up to $5,000.
She also told Parade that she had a breast reduction after having kids. Breast reduction surgery can cost between $15,000 – $17,000, per Dr York Yates Plastic Surgery.
When it comes to procedures, she’s opting for more in future, too. Jessie told Virtual RealiTea she’s going to get “lower blepharoplasty” surgery, which involves the removal of skin in the under-eye area.
“No more bags,” she said, adding: “…Next season I’ll be getting that.”
Taylor Frankie Paul

Although Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Taylor Frankie Paul hasn’t been so vocal about getting plastic surgery, she said it’s not a “no-no” in the Mormon community.
Speaking in a Parade interview with co-star Jessi, Taylor agreed that surgery is like a “vice” to the cast, as they “don’t drink or do drugs.”
She told the world she had a boob job on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season one.
And, as season two drops, people can’t stop talking about how different Taylor’s mom looks after opting for surgery.
Whitney Leavitt

Whitney Leavitt is another Mormon Wives star who doesn’t appear to have opted for a lot of cosmetic work.
Although she did take to Instagram in June 2022 to share how her Botox was “really setting in.”
Whitney has previously spoken about how much money she and her castmates can make from their Hulu and TikTok fame, detailing how her influencing job can make her $20,000 for just one post?!
Demi Engemann – $20k

Demi has opted for a rhinoplasty, per Marie Claire.
She also had a boob job and shared her journey on Instagram in March last year.
“Unrecognisable” Demi also gets Botox and fillers to boost her confidence, per Daily Mail.
According to Saltz Plastic Surgery, the average cost of a nose job in Utah is $5,000 – $8,000.
And, a boob job would set Demi back $6,000 – $12,000, per Doctor York Yates Plastic Surgery.
Layla Taylor – $40k

If there’s any Mormon Wives star who has hit the headlines when it comes to surgery, it’s Layla.
At 23 years old, she opted for six cosmetic procedures in four months.
Her list of “small tweaks” included getting her “boobs and nose done, a tummy tuck, lip filler, chin filler and Botox,” per Page Six.
Although Layla listed a lot of her procedures, she didn’t lift the lid on how much it all cost.
A tummy tuck and upper hip liposuction costs $17,000 – $20,000 per Dr York Yates.
So, we could estimate she’s spent at least $40,000 on all her procedures.
However, she seemed to have changed her mind since season two’s release when it comes to one of her procedures.
Layla told Virtual RealiTea what’s on the agenda for her: “Taking my implants out… I just feel like, for my frame, I want to go smaller, or take them out altogether. I just feel like, for my frame, they’re just always there… sometimes I want to wear a sports bra and not look like a hoochie mama.”
Miranda McWhorter

Miranda took to TikTok three years ago to share how she’d partnered with a medspa and had Botox.
Despite opting for the tweakment, she said it didn’t mean she had low self-esteem, she simply liked the results and felt confident regardless.
