Reality TV star slammed for saying she was ‘put on this Earth’ to be a ‘black man’s dream’
She said her 'obsession' with 'black men' keeps her happy
Reality TV star, Leylah Linda has come under fire for the “fetishization” of black men, after the Ex On The Beach cast member claimed she has an “obsession” over them.
She made the controversial remarks in an Instagram video, saying: “If someone said to me what is the main thing that I think about every day. Do you know what it would be? Literally just black men.
“I don’t even think it’s an issue now, like I used to think it was an issue and I never used to talk to people about it, but I genuinely think that is my obsession.
She continued, saying: “That’s what keeps me happy every single day, knowing I’m a black man’s dream as well and that only really black men want me, so I feel like I was literally just put on Earth to be a woman that loves black men and a black man to love a white woman.
“Like, without me it wouldn’t be the same in this world . I’m here for the black men and the black men are here for me.”
This isn’t the first time Leylah Linda has made divisive comments, as she previously admitted the the reason she struggles with maintaining friendships is because of her looks.
She claimed that being beautiful is “hard” and life would be “easier” if she looked more “normal.”
She told The Daily Star: “All through my life I have had issues with maintaining relationships and also friendships because of my beauty.
“I have had a lot of jealousy coming from women and also men. I believe the reason is because I was born to be a star and others cannot cope with this.
“I’ve got the biggest heart and am willing to help anyone in need and unfortunately being beautiful people take advantage of this in many ways.
“I feel like life would be easier if I was more normal looking. For one I feel like I would have genuine people around me who love me for who I am and not just for my beauty and fame like in recent years.”
