Meg and Mason reveal the EXACT moment they got back together
Meg and Mason were genuinely just friends, despite people thinking they were keeping a relationship on the DL… until they attended the Love Is Blind reunion party together. That’s when they shared a kiss, Meg and Mason revealed on the Blind Love With Zack & Bliss podcast, revealing that they both went to the show’s South by Southwest reunion screening in Austin, Texas, in March.
Mason admitted they “got a little comfortable” watching the reunion, and he said: “When we kissed, I knew it was game over. It’s like, okay, this is it.” He was in Fink’s hotel room, and they were “just kind of venting to each other” about what had happened earlier. She started giving him a massage because his shoulder was hurting, and things evolved to a kiss from there.
“I think we both knew it was pretty obvious. It was like, okay, we’re feeling each other,” Mason added. After their return to Minneapolis, he went straight to his mom to tell her about Meg. “He’s like, ‘I told my mom we’re going to try it again.'” Meg confirmed this and added: “He’s like, ‘I told my mum, we’re going to try it again.'”
Things have been super romantic ever since
Meg and Mason have spent a lot of time together, and have teased us about what their label is for months. He’s filmed her painting, they’ve had lots of snuggles in bed together, and have been for many a date night. They initially wanted to keep their relationship a secret because they wanted to figure everything out “for themselves” – and perhaps there was a silver lining that they stayed friends on the show!
“We had so many conversations about, ‘We do not ever want to feel pressure from the show to date again,’” Meg said. Previously, when they appeared on the Dear Shandy podcast, where she revealed that his people-pleasing nature led to issues. “Dating Meg, she wanted someone who had their own opinions and just essentially backbone, like make up your own decision,” he said.
