Um, why on earth was Leo from Love Is Blind invited to a White House dinner?!
Shock, the art dealer is mixing with the rich
Leo Braudy was never secretive about his wealth on Love Is Blind, but that’s now been turned up a notch, as he’s been spotted at the White House. He inherited a lot of wealth after a sad family tragedy, and his art dealer career now appears to have landed him a spot at the White House Correspondents dinner, but president Donald Trump was not in attendance.

Leo Braudy, as in Leo from Love Is Blind, was spotted at the recent White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton on April 26, 2025. He was among the likes of Tim Daly, Robin Bronk, Michael Chiklis, Emily Glassman, Dean Norris and other celebrities for the annual event, where journalists, political figures and entertainment industry guests are invited.
It was a shock for loads of people to notice Leo at the event, which focuses on press freedom, professional recognition and support of future journalists. Most people who saw him think he was there because of his wealth, but he was on a pretty big Netflix show and IS an art dealer. Even Jason Isaacs was there, who recently starred in The White Lotus.
And luckily for us, there’s actually some insider witness accounts of what he was like at the party. According to The Washington Post, he was talking about how the Trump administration’s recent executive order attacking the Smithsonian is deeply concerning to him, and said the most famous person he saw at the event was Bill Nye, who he “admired from afar.”
Why on earth is he hanging out with White House importance?
Usually, the president is in attendance at the infamous White House Correspondents’ dinner, but not this year. Except for Donald Trump, every president has attended at least one WHCA dinner, beginning with Calvin Coolidge in 1924. Dinner tickets are only sold to news organizations that have WHCA members, but it looks like Leo was invited as an entertainment industry star (and art dealer, obvs!).
Trump has called the dinner “so boring and so negative” in the past, while the event itself has been increasingly criticized as an example of the cosiness between the White House press corps and the administration. The guest list has also been known to have become “more Hollywood” in recent years. A couple days before, Leo attended the US Weekly Reality Star Awards – which is pretty different!
