They are the cutest
James and Shelley have finally revealed how they spent their first date, just as they celebrate a whole year together. They’ve recently faced some rumours they’d split up after Shelley revealed she’s hurt that he was dating after they first met, but worry not, because they’ve now toasted to a big milestone, and appear happier than ever.
Shelley just revealed how she and James spent their first date
Shelley has opened up about how she and James spent their first date a year ago today, before Love on the Spectrum season three was filmed. They actually went and sang karaoke, with Shelley writing in her Instagram Stories, “As people have been asking, I am a big Morrissey fan and actually sang, “Frankly, Mr. Shankly” one year ago on my first date with James.”
She shared a video clip of the band performing, which followed a photo of James praying at Sunday church, with the song, Everyday is Like Sunday by Morrissey. Regardless of Shelley speaking out to say she can’t watch Love on the Spectrum season three, she’s not letting it get in the way of the connection she shares with James.
They’re celebrating a big milestone after Love on the Spectrum
James and Shelley are laying those rumours to rest by celebrating their one-year anniversary together. They toasted over a lovely dinner at a restaurant for the special occasion, confirming they are well and truly still a couple, despite all of the speculation going on about their relationship. James said Shelley is the “most amazing and wonderful person he’s ever met.”
He confessed his love for her, saying the past year has been “one of the best of his life” and believes the future looks bright with her in it. Of course, James wore one of his colourful shirts for the evening, and was congratulated by his Love on the Spectrum co-stars, such as Connor Tomlinson, who shared his well wishes in the comments.
