Pete Davidson reveals the INSANE six figure amount he’s spent removing his tattoos so far
He's only removed 30 per cent of them?!
Kim Kardashian‘s ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson, has decided to make some major changes to his appearance lately. He’s been getting to work trying to remove almost all of his 200-odd tattoos from his body. Ready to become a “clean slate” and someone who gives “adult” vibes, Pete’s opting for something of a rebrand, it seems.
Pete spent a crazy amount on tattoo removal
Pete explained in an interview with Variety how, after turning over a new leaf in life, he decided he didn’t want to keep all of his tattoos.
When it comes creating the “clean slate” he’s after, Pete has his work cut out as a lot of his body is covered in ink.
Naturally, the hefty task also comes with a big price tag – and he’s already spent enough to buy a whole apartment.
Pete didn’t want to admit the cost but said the tattoo removal has set him back $200k so far!
What’s worse? He’s only removed thirty percent of his tatts and still has a load more to go.
He said: “It’s a pretty uncomfortable amount of money to disclose, but I think one of the tabloids already leaked it. I’ve already spent like 200k, and I’m like 30% done. So, like, it’s gonna suck. Now that I’ve said the tattoo remover’s name, though, he’s a little nicer, for sure.”
It’s not just expensive, but painful, too!
Delving into what he’s gotten himself into with the tattoo removal, Pete also added how each one takes “60 weeks of your life to remove” if you take into account the whole process.
During The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Pete addressed his decision to remove his ink.
Jimmy told him how he noticed how “some of his tattoos were going away.”
Pete explained: “Yeah, I’ve been burning them off.”
When asked if the process is “painful,” Kim‘s ex replied: “It’s horrible.”
He then went into more detail and added: “It’s worse than getting them, they’ve got to burn off a layer of your skin and then it has to heal for like six to eight weeks and you can’t get in the sunlight.”
Pete continued that he has to go for around 12 tattoo removal sessions in total before they’re gone.
