Police arrest to messy break-up: All the juiciest Alaskan Bush People drama revealed
What hasn't been happening with the Brown family?!
When Alaskan Bush People was airing, people got to see the family going through all kinds of challenges and tragedies. Since the family has been away from the screen, it appears their lives are still pretty drama-filled. The Browns have recently dealt with a police arrest, a messy relationship breakdown and more. So, let’s delve into the latest.
Alaskan Bush People is on hiatus
People might expect to hear very little from a show’s cast when their reality TV show goes on hiatus.
But, the Brown family has been hitting the headlines a lot since a pause was placed on filming.
In December 2022, the episodes came to a halt, but a year later, Bird Brown was still taking to Instagram to share how her family was still going strong.
People wrote in her post’s comments: “Prayers for Bear and Raven,” “I hope they grow old together,” and “Great to see you all.”
Now, the reality of the Brown family dynamic is appearing to be quite different.
Rain Brown was arrested
Some people are suggesting the Brown family’s united front could be falling apart these days.
Back in January, Rain Brown shared that she and her now-husband got married, and she wrote in the post’s comments that only her mother was in attendance.
Rain was arrested in April 2025 and, per The Daily Mail, the charges came: “…seven months after she was accused of abusing meth in a damning restraining order request filed by her own brother, which was denied.”
The former Discovery Channel star’s recent arrest was made on charges of “…burglary in the first degree, malicious mischief in the first degree, and criminal trespassing in the second degree.”
Rain’s husband, Josiah Lorton, was also arrested. He was charged with burglary in the first degree and malicious mischief in the first degree.
The two are now out of custody, but they were jailed until their court date on April 14, per the report.
“The arrests came almost one year after Rain’s brother Noah Brown accused her of using meth and threatening to kill him in a request to the court for a restraining order. Noah filed a Petition for Order of Protection against Rain on August 5, 2024.”
Bear and Raiven’s announcement
As if there wasn’t already enough drama going on with the Brown family, Bear Brown shared a shocking announcement this Easter.
He took to Instagram to share how he and his wife, Raiven, have decided to split up.
Bear wrote how the two are going to remain “good friends,” and “will be co-parenting together.”
They share three young sons, River, Cove, and Everest.
Bear explained how he and Raiven think the break-up is the “best thing for them and their children.”
Raiven also took to Instagram to confirm the split. She wrote in a lengthy post: “Bear and I have separated…”
“We have decided to go our separate ways after years of trying. We have decided that it’s better to co-parent and find happiness. We are friends and we have love for one another. But unfortunately, it’s just not been a possible outcome to work things out with one another…”
The two welcomed their third son together, Everest Makai Joshua Brown, in August last year.
