Abbey and David from Love on the Spectrum reveal when they’re planning on getting married, and it’s soon!
I love these two so much
Abbey and David met during season one of Love on the Spectrum and have been together ever since, and it looks like marriage is very much on the cards for the pair.
The pair recently opened up about their plans for having children together during the new season of the show on Netflix, but have discussed marriage in other interviews.
Abbey opened up to Rolling Stone about when she and David would be ready to get married, stating she thinks it’ll happen “probably in late 2025.”
And it sounds like since filming for the newest season of Love on the Spectrum, Abbey and David have already started planning their wedding.
Abbey revealed on the Unplanned Podcast that she’s already started thinking about the food that will be on offer, describing that cookies, Costco pizza, and Yum Yum Donuts will all be on the menu. A genuine dream.
She added: “I’ve always always wanted to be old enough to get married. Marriage means I’m like a princess.”
However, the pair have also openly talked about their living arrangements for after they get married, as neither of them is prepared to live on their own yet.
Abbey’s mum explained: “It doesn’t have to be in the traditional sense of what a neurotypical person would make it look like.
“You can have your place, he can still have his place. You can still do what you do until you’re ready to move in together…so that they can make that commitment without having it to upheaval everything else.”
She added: “I think in today’s world, marriage can look like whatever you want it to look like, as long as your heart’s in the right place.”
