Body language expert decodes Love Is Blind star Mark Cuevas’s ‘possessive’ hug with wife
They literally pose the same in every photo
A body language expert has decoded the exact same pose Love Is Blind‘s Mark and his wife, Aubrey, do in their photos. Recently, people started to predict they’ll be getting a divorce soon, after Aubrey revealed Mark had gone out with his friends to the pub on St. Patrick’s Day and “no longer wants to be a provider”. She even said he is leaving!

Love Is Blind season one star Mark Cuevas appears to have a “possessive” hug with his wife, who often closes her hugs and smiles to his right. It’s the same pose they’ve been pulling in their photos since they met, just before the first season’s reunion. Speaking on behalf of Prime Casino, body language expert Inbaal Hongiman revealed: “The couple’s poses may appear similar in many pictures.”
They added, “But there’s actually a variety of body language cues to look at. In some pictures, they face each other’s bodies, and in others, they pull away and look distanced from each other. Some photos display their face-to-face kisses and a few are face-to-cheek instead. So, at different times, it’s clear they feel more closely intimate than on other occasions or have been in more alignment in times before.”
“The reason this pose seems very similar across the duration of their relationship is down to one specific body language cue – where we see his hand around her waist, which sometimes dips lower towards the bum. This body gesture is possessive, showing it’s important for him to feel dominant in their relationship and be in control,” Inbaal added.

The couple got married after Mark went on Love Is Blind
Mark and Aubrey met just before the Love Is Blind season one reunion, after he’d developed a romance with Jessica in the pods, who left him at the altar as she was particularly stressed about the pair’s 10-year age difference. Luckily, he’s met his long-term wife, and welcomed two children into the world with her, after they tied the knot in September 2022 at Sapphire Creek Winery in Ohio.
They became husband-and-wife almost two years after getting engaged. Mark surprised Aubrey with a gender reveal-turned-proposal outside of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. “Aubrey was very surprised because she thought we were going to the venue, but I blindfolded her so she wouldn’t know where we were actually going,” Mark told People.
He “did about a month’s worth of planning and coordinating, trying to make sure Aubrey didn’t catch on to the surprise” in November 2020. Although things seem a little tense for the couple three years on, with some thinking a divorce is looming, they still have each other’s names in their Instagram bios, and appear to still be together.
