Lauren savagely reveals her thoughts on Dave’s attempt to get her back on Love Is Blind
'I just didn’t understand it'
Despite having split up just a mere 24 hours prior, Dave attempted to rekindle his romance with Lauren during a group outing with the Love Is Blind cast, something we had the misfortune of having to watch.
Lauren has now revealed exactly what she was thinking when Dave tried to get her back during *that* awkward Love Is Blind outing.

Talking to Glamour about the moment, Lauren admitted she felt “very defeated” and that the whole thing felt “very disingenuous.”
She explained: “I was just very defeated. I just didn’t understand it. It felt very disingenuous. I didn’t understand how he could have made a complete 180 in the 24 hours since we’d seen each other.
“And I was so emotionally exhausted trying to navigate this relationship by myself for a week and to now have him present in a way like he’s ready to tackle it, I just was so defeated. I didn’t believe that that was actually something that he was capable of doing.”

She also opened up to Us Weekly about having to see Dave at the Love Is Blind event less than 24 hours after splitting, with Lauren explaining: “Timing wise that was tough.
“I felt very emotionally drained. We had broken up within 24 hours [of the outing]. It was fresh. Dave and I ending this relationship was very sad, but I had gotten so close with the other couples and I was sad that I couldn’t support them throughout the rest of their process.
“I knew what was coming and I just was excited to see them and check in and make sure they were good too.”

As for her thoughts on Dave’s apology, she admitted: “There was an element of me being like, ‘I’ve been waiting weeks for you to say this.’ But I remember thinking, ‘I don’t fully believe this.’
“I think he shut down [during the experiment] and you see me say that at the group hang. I say, ‘I’ve been giving 150 percent, you’ve given me nothing.’”
