Lauren reveals exact moment she knew her relationship with Dave was over on Love Is Blind
She didn't hold back
Praise be, Dave and Lauren finally ended their engagement on Love Is Blind, and truly, I couldn’t be happier. I’m afraid you never would have been his sister Lauren.
However, Lauren has now revealed to PEOPLE the exact moment she knew her relationship with Dave was over, and it was the final “nail in the coffin” for her on Love Is Blind.
Just a quick recap about what we saw on the show surrounding their breakup. Dave started to doubt whether Lauren was actually ready for marriage, and she insisted she was and asked to be able to explain everything to his family.

However, after refusing to let her meet his family and Dave questioning why Lauren’s father didn’t want to appear on the show, the couple decided to call things off in episode 11.
Right, but now back to the moment she knew it was all over, as Lauren admitted: “I think that that conversation in the movie theater is my breaking point. You see him shift his tone a little bit and get angry with me, and I’m like, this is not how my person will speak to me. We’re done.”
She continued: “It was the nail in the coffin for how emotionally drained I was. And then that’s the way he was approaching me and my family.
“It’s like, I can’t. I’ve over-explained the s— out of this situation. And nothing I say or do will make you look at it differently until you hear it from your friends.”

She continued: “At the time, I will say I was really conflicted on who is in the right here. Am I not reading this right? Did I f**k up and or is Dave over-exaggerating?
“I really did kind of grapple with the truth, but at the end of the day I was like, I know my story and I know the narrative and I know everything about this. So I just couldn’t fully see why it was breaking up an engagement.”
She added: “I think it was fair of him to question me. I don’t think it was fair to not let me be part of the conversation or to not hear me out.”
