Dave has finally revealed why he talks about his sister so much on Love Is Blind
He's actually obsessed
If there was an award for someone being the biggest villain on Love Is Blind so far, it’d have to go to Dave no doubt.
Between his very questionable jokes to his awful TV stand, the man has a lot to answer for.
He also seems utterly obsessed with his sister in a slightly worrying way, and Dave genuinely seemed unable to stop talking about her during Love Is Blind.
But now he’s finally opened up about why he constantly talks about her, as well as addressing some of the more questionable behaviours he’s been showing.
During an appearance on The Viall Files, Dave said his sister was “taking it in stride” and claimed everyone who thought his constant mention of her on Love Is Blind was weird as “insane.”
He explained: “The internet is just insane, because apparently having a good relationship with your sister is a bad thing. Sorry, she’s cool. Whatever.
“I think she’s doing OK. If she was struggling with it, she would have been talking with me and texting me a lot. I think she’s doing alright.”
Dave then defended the controversial jokes he made in the pods, saying: “The crazy thing about that is … if you kind of understand that humour or whatever, people can tell it was a joke.
“Lauren, I think she handled it really well and we kind of connected after that and hit it off.”
He continued: “I mean I talked a lot, you’re in those pods for hours on end and, like, there’s just a lot of stuff you talk about.
“That’s a really important piece of, like, a partner that I was looking for. I want to be able to have fun with that partner. I feel like I just want to be myself and make sure people understand me for me.”
