She worried she was going to lose an eye
Caroline Stanbury‘s eye was leaking days ago. There was so much liquid coming out at one time that her eye was jammed shut, with the RHODubai cast member fearing she might lose an eye. Her partner was praying at the hospital while she told him to calm down, but she basically shared the whole thing on socials.

Caroline Stanbury’s eye was leaking so much it was jammed shut. She had to quickly rush to hospital to have it looked at, and it turns out it was an eye infection. Caroline explained she threw away all of her mascaras in fear they’d caused the infection, and feared she’d either lose an eye or that it would at least burst while pus oozed out of her eye.
She was diagnosed with orbital cellulitis on Friday and has been recovering for the last couple of days. Caroline confirms she’s “slowly getting better” and has had her infected eye checked over by an optician. Then when she was at home, Caroline tried to calm her swollen eye down by holding a wet flannel over the top of it, and gradually it started to open back up.

Caroline is now in recovery and her eye is no longer leaking pus. It still looks a little red, but she can open it and is doing normal activities like cooking. However, she’s now got a “horrible feeling about the other eye” because she woke up and said it “felt sticky,” similar to what happened before her left eye started leaking a lot of pus.
While lying in bed, she said it felt like it was “going to go” and panicked in an Instagram Story, asking her followers, “What do I do? I’m dying.” Since then though, Caroline has been posting selfies in the mirror and both of her eyes look completely fine. For her and our sake, we hope she doesn’t have anymore eye incidents!
