Ally Shapiro finally clarifies relationship status between her and Leo from Love Is Blind
The two have been spotted getting very cosy together
Jill Zarin’s daughter Ally Shapiro has spoken out about what’s really going on between her and Leo from Love Is Blind, and finally we have answers!
The pair have been spotted together a lot during the last few months, and rumours the pair were secretly in a relationship together soon started.
However, Ally Shapiro has now released a TikTok video explaining the status of her relationship with Leo following his time on Love Is Blind.
She explained: “So, our relationship starts where most Jewish couples do — when my mom DM’ed him on Instagram. I swear to God it was not for me,.
“She loved him on the show [and] I’m a huge Love Is Blind fan. Literally told my mom to watch the show for Leo because [I] loved it so much.”

She added that she was never interested in Leo “romantically” and that the pair have an almost sibling like bond.
She continued: “I just thought he was a great character and I could relate to him on a lot of levels. [My mom] slid into his DMs and we planned to meet during Basel [in] early December.
“Right before Basel, Leo called me and I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ Apparently, he’s a big talker. Now that I know him well, [I know] he loves phone calls and voice notes.”
She added: “Obviously, at the time, I wasn’t looking for anything serious. I had just gotten out of an engagement and so did he.
“We were both at Basel and he didn’t really know that many people because he’s newer to the reality scene.”
Ally explained how the pair soon connected on a “much deeper level” than anything romantic, revealing: “[We also connected] on a much deeper level.
“He had a lot of death and cancer in his family; I lost [my stepdad] Bobby. … We’re both also only children and I feel like when you have a parent with cancer, you have a unique situation. We got very deep, very quickly.”
She wholesomely ended her TikTok saying: “I feel like I became his sister. I’ve had to rebuild my whole friend group, and he’s been a really big part of that.
“I think I’ve been a really good friend for him, as well, navigating this new world that he’s in.”
