Swamp People’s Pickle Wheat just got married – so who exactly is her husband?!

Swamp People has been airing for 15 years. And, in that time, people have naturally come to know and love the show’s cast. This February, we see Pickle Wheat being walked down the aisle. While some of us knew she had kids, others were clueless she had a longtime partner. So, let’s find out more about the Swamp People star’s husband.
Pickle Wheat walks down the aisle
On September 21, 2024, Pickle Wheat tied the knot with her beau.
The wedding was captured on camera for Swamp People and the touching scenes see Troy Landry officiating her wedding.
Troy tells the cameras he sees her as: “…the daughter he never had. She was just as pretty as pretty could be. She was beautiful.”
Pickle Wheat and her husband got married on the Belle River. She explains to the cameras: “To get married here on the Belle River is just worth gold to me. My daddy gets to walk me down the aisle and Mr Troy gets to say the words, so I couldn’t ask for anything better…”
Who is Pickle Wheat’s husband?
Pickle Wheat is officially married to Joshua Kippes.
Any Swamp People viewers would’ve learned Josh’s name by now as Troy jokes during the couple’s big day: “I do hope Joshua is prepared for the challenge he has ahead.”
Pickle also took to Instagram ahead of the episode airing to say she and Josh would be watching the sweet moment at a later date together as he was working.
She wrote in the post caption: “I love you Joshua and I can’t wait to watch it with you babe.”
By the looks of social media, Josh is opting to keep his life private.
Despite Pickle Wheat’s fame, he seemingly prefers to keep a low profile.
Josh is an emergency medical technician per Distractify.
He’s also now a dad of two. He and Pickle welcomed their first child together in May 2024.
The two welcomed a daughter creating a perfect family of four as Josh also has a son from a previous relationship.
