Omg, RHONY’s Erin Lichy is claiming she was ‘manipulated’ but Brynn just called her a ‘sister’
RHONY’s Erin Lichy is claiming she was manipulated after Brynn Whitfield called her a “sister.” She’s saying it was a stretch, adding that they haven’t spoken for months since the on-screen drama.
Brynn Whitfield started out on The Real Housewives of New York City as a favorite. However, the tables have totally turned, and she’s now being branded the villain, with Erin Lichy in agreement.

Brynn Whitfield calls Erin Lichy a ‘sister’
Brynn Whitfield has referred to her RHONY co-star Erin as “like a sister,” but she’s not in agreement. In her recent interview with Rolling Stone, Brynn defended herself and called out her castmates.
She slammed them for refusing to believe her amid the drama with Ubah Hassan, who claimed she slept with someone to get on the show, which Brynn has consistently denied.
Around the same time, Brynn shared a quote on Instagram: “Teach your daughters to say no. Teach your daughters to raise their voices. To value safety over politeness. To yell fire instead of help […].”
Erin says Brynn’s words are a ‘stretch’
Erin has spoken out and said Brynn calling her a sister is a “stretch”. She wrote on Instagram that they haven’t been in contact for months, claiming she was “manipulated” by Brynn.
The only time they’ve spoke is when Brynn thanked Abe for clearing up the intention for a call, according to Erin, who says she “really wanted Brynn to win so bad” and was “excited to watch her shine”.
She wrote, “This show is supposed to be FUN, it’s all I tried to do yet somehow things kept getting twisted and I will take ownership that I very much was naïve and victim to much manipulation.”
It’s been tense since the flirting incident
A year ago, the RHONY cast came to a halt after Erin accused Brynn of flirting with her husband, Abe, during their renewal party. Things have been a little tense ever since, even though they sorted it out.
Erin said, “This is the difference between Brynn and most of my friends. She can’t take ownership, apologise and move on,” yet their fellow cast members were all siding with Brynn.
Brynn told her during a wreath-making workshop, “I’m sorry that you weren’t there, I’m sorry if it upset you. If you accuse me of flirting with a married man, it’s going to really get real.”
