People jump to Kourtney Kardashian’s defense as critics blast her ‘brand promo’ amid LA fires
Over the past 10 days, LA has been dealing with devastating wildfires that began during the first week of January. As the blaze swept the California area, thousands of people had to be evacuated from their homes including some celebrities such as Kourtney Kardashian’s step-daughter, Alabama Barker.
Although the Kardashians and Jenners have remained relatively quiet on social media while the state was declared in an “emergency,” more and more of the famous family members are now taking to Instagram. Khloé Kardashian has been posting the most out of her siblings, but now Kourtney Kardashian shares some helpful information for her followers.

Kourtney Kardashian’s LA fires post
Just over a week since the wildfires broke out in California, Kourtney takes to her Instagram Stories to share a post from her Poosh page.
The reality TV star links to her wellness and lifestyle website with a roundup of information for her followers titled: “Ways to Help Protect Your Health Against Air Pollutants.”
The fires appear to be calming at the time of writing as BBC reports that firefighters are beginning to get some “respite” as “strong winds weaken.”
The report states: “At least 27 people have been killed and more than 12,000 structures destroyed in some of the worst fires in memory to engulf America’s second biggest city.”
Given the scale of the devastation caused, Kourtney shares some tips for her Poosh followers via Dr Nigma Talib, an LA-based naturopathic doctor. They include some supplements to take, and which type of mask to wear.
People jump to Kourtney’s defense
While Kourtney’s post appears to have enraged some people, many are jumping to the Hulu star’s defense this January.
Some people comment: “How many vitamins are you donating to contribute?” and more write: “Stop buying the garbage the Kardashians are selling.”
However, there are lots of people thanking Kourtney and Dr Nigma Talib for the “helpful information.”
Some comment: “This is fabulous,” and “I didn’t even think of vitamins! Thank you for this.”
“Kourtney is providing helpful information. And for that people asking if she’s going to donate, is the same people that would criticize her if she posted that she donated. So please look at the bright side and if you have nothing good to say, respectfully abcdefg you have to go…” writes another fan of the star’s.
