Jerseylicious’ Lorenzo Gangala has sadly died
Jerseylicious star Lorenzo Gangala, who left the Esquire Network and ITV show in 2012 before its end in 2017, has sadly died. A loved one confirmed his death on Facebook, and tributes have poured in.
The Italian-born former reality TV star lived in New Jersey and appeared on Jerseylicious seasons 1 to 3. He was working as a landscape and construction supervisor in New York up until his death.
During his life, business owner Lorenzo studied and achieved three degrees in business administration and management. God, family and good food were his passions in life, as per his Instagram bio.
He was in a motorbike crash in August
In August 2024, Lorenzo shared graphic photos of his injuries while he was in hospital. He revealed he had been in a motorbike crash in East Orange, in which one of the drivers sustained serious injuries.
When police arrived on the scene, they found two motorcycles badly damaged, with both drivers no longer in their vehicles. Both motorcyclists were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
He wrote: “On August 27 my life completely changed. Some may say I was lucky but the truth is I saved by the mercy of God. Even as a believer of Jesus Christ since my 20’s I had put him on the back burner.”
Lorenzo shared a photo of him with his Dad and said: “Father & Son still here on earth only because of God, miracles and prayers … thank you everyone who prayed for our family these last few months of hell.”
At the time, the Jerseylicious co-star, Tracy DiMarco, said they’re “lucky to still have him here.” Since the accident, Lorenzo has been adjusting to life again, and attended a Christmas party in December.

One of Lorenzo’s loved ones wrote: “Another sad, very sad news for our community… A beautiful boy left us early… Who still had his whole life ahead of him… Rip Lorenzo Rocco Gangala.”
They added, “Give your loved ones the strength to try and move on
