Tom Sandoval hasn’t exactly had the best year after the whole Scandoval drama on Vanderpump Rules. So when he was revealed as a contestant on The Traitors US, it didn’t go down so well at first.
Gabby Windey and Nikki Garcia have spilled the tea on how everyone reacted when Tom Sandoval was unveiled as a The Traitors US contestant. They claim the whole room moved slightly when he walked in.
The Traitors US stars address Sandoval’s entrance
Tom Sandoval was basically the mood shifter when he walked into The Traitors US casting unveil. Nikki Garcia and The Bachelor’s Gabby Windey said they planned not to greet the Vanderpump Rules star.
Nikki said on her SiriusXM show, “It’s good for us that we didn’t want to say hi to Tom Sandoval. I don’t feel bad, and I just remember when we were, you know, all of us get to Scotland early.”
She added, “We’re doing a lot of stuff before meeting each other, so you’re filming things before knowing who’s on cast, so they ask you questions. “Who do you want to see?” Who you don’t want to see…”
Everyone ‘moved weird’ after Tom’s unveiling
When Tom walked into the room, The Traitors US contestants started to move “weird,” according to Nikki. People already think he could be the most hated traitor ever, especially as Chrishell Stause dislikes him.
Chrishell told Marie Claire: “My plan going in was to lay low and make friends. But day one that was shot to hell. I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say; I definitely made friends—but I also made an enemy.”
Gabby and Nikki weren’t fond of him at the get-go. Nikki said on SiriusXM, “You don’t know anyone there yet, so I see Tom Sandoval and I do remember how some people moved in the room.”
She added, “In my head, I’m like, ‘They kind of moved weird. Don’t tell me he’s here,’ but I’m like, ‘There’s no way he’d be here.’” However, Tom says people are “finally taking him seriously.”
