People aren’t impressed by The Kardashians’ response to the LA wildfires – here’s why
People aren’t impressed by The Kardashians’ response to the LA wildfires – here’s why
Khloé, Kim, and Kourtney Kardashian, their mom, Kris Jenner, and their sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, are famous Calabasas residents. As devastating wildfires blaze across California, some of the reality stars are taking to social media. Whether they are speaking out or staying quiet during the terrifying time, it looks like people are keen to express how impressed they are with the family.
The Kardashians are just some of the celebrities affected by the LA wildfires this January. Kourtney Kardashian‘s step-daughter, Alabama Barker, took to her socials to share she was evacuating her home. Many more famous people, including Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules stars have also shared how they’ve been affected. RHOBH’s Bozoma Saint John sadly lost her home in the fires.

People want to know what the Kardashians are doing
While none of The Kardashians stars have been posting to their Instagram grids as the LA fires rage this January, it doesn’t stop people from taking to the comments section to grill them on their response.
As LA was declared in a state of emergency, many people wrote on Kris Jenner‘s latest IG post: “Donate your money to LA fire authorities.”
More ask: “Are y’all just ignoring the Cali fires?” and others ask: “How are you helping?”
Others write on Kris’ post about Khloé Kardashian’s new podcast: “Does anyone else notice how quiet they all are right now?”
More Kardashians get questioned
It’s not just the head of the family who’s got people asking all kinds of questions on her Instagram posts.
Kourtney Kardashian is being blasted as “selfish” in her comments. One person writes: “
Kim’s latest post also has people writing: “Send some of your millions to the firefighters you are ‘supporting’.”
Both sisters are also being accused of using gallons of water during the terrifying time.
But, the original LA Times article from 2022 relating to water consumption during droughts in LA, not the current wildfires.
Although Khloé is taking to her IG Stories and X account to share her thanks and gratitude to the first responders, as well as sharing how people can help out during the time, people don’t seem to be giving the family any kind of let up.
Another person writes on Kourtney’s post: “Don’t ask for donations or how we can help. You yourself can help your people. Donate.”
Someone else tweets: “Have the Kardashians donated ANYTHING for the fires in L.A. ? I would’ve thought they’d be the main ones with the ability and options available to support those affected by this disaster.”
Khloé slams LA’s mayor
In addition to people throwing hundreds of questions the Kar-Jenners’ way amid the fires, some people are also taking to their keyboards to bash Khloé over a comment she made about LA’s Mayor.
Khloé called the Mayor, Karen Bass, “a joke,” and many were unimpressed by her remark.
The “joke” comment had tons taking to X to slate Khloé with some tweeting: “The way Khloe insulted that mayor and everybody hopped right on her case.”
