The Real Housewives of New Jersey is renowned for its explosive scenes. The long-running Bravo show’s tensions have risen so high that this year a traditional reunion was scrapped. The show is now on pause as production rethinks the cast and plan moving forward. In the aftermath of RHONJ season 14, Danielle Cabral reflects on things “getting physical” between herself and Jennifer Aydin.
Things first took a turn between The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Danielle and Jen at a party. In the midst of a heated argument, Jen pushed Danielle and, in retaliation, she threw a drink on her. At the end of the season, the ladies got together at Rails where even more drama ensued.
Danielle comes under fire for comments over Jennifer
After RHONJ season 14, Danielle came under fire when fans got wind of her comments about wishing she’d “killed” Jennifer.
During the Bravo show’s finale, Danielle dived across the table toward Jen before throwing a pitcher.
Speaking of her “regrets” from the show during season 14, episode 14, Danielle said: “I regret having Jen in my home, around my kids. I feel like I should have listened to everybody.”
Jenn Fessler tells her co-star: “I’m sure you wish you hadn’t gotten to that point and jumped over the table and…”
Danielle cuts over her: “I regret not killing her…”.
The RHONJ star’s behavior came after comments were made body-shaming her husband, Nate Cabral.
Fans suggest Danielle “dial it down” via X (Twitter) and it appears in a recent interview she’s got a new take on things getting physical.
‘Getting physical was wrong’
During an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Realitea this August, the hosts address the body-shaming comments made on RHONJ.
The host “felt so bad for Nate,” adding: “…the way you lunge across that table, I would hope that my partner would lunge across a table for me…”
Danielle reflects on the moment: “Listen, when someone gets physical, it’s never right. It’s wrong. But, you know the saying ‘words hurt just as much’?”
She adds: “The words that cut like a knife, sometimes it’s worse.”
Danielle tells the show’s hosts how what was seen “was only a fraction” of “what she endured at that table.”
She continues: “There’s no excuse for getting physical and I regret that I even got to that.”
Reality Blurb reports Jen claims “scenes were cut from the finale” which would give more context as to why she mentioned Danielle’s husband.
A tweet via @joyrosenberg on X shows a screenshot reading: “How convenient that they cut out what [Danielle] said about my husband first, triggering me to say that about her husband… Everyone there heard her and they all told her she should’ve never [have] mentioned my husband first.
“But since you didn’t see that, figured I’d share.”
