Love Island USA may be over for a season – but Serena and Kordell are living their real-life dreams. She graced the CÉCRED Salon for a little post-villa TLC, and her natural hair is blowing fans away.
Serena wows with natural hair
Serena Page is showing off her “beautiful” natural hair. Fans were convinced she already debuted her real locks on Love Island USA but are only just realising she must have been wearing a wig.
She first sits in the salon chair with her hair scraped back, telling the hairdresser her locks have been in braids for 10 weeks. “It hasn’t had enough TLC while I was on the island and in the water,” she said.
“I just had to slick it back. I love the short hair look on me,” Serena added, revealing that she hasn’t put any treatment on it since entering the villa. She even admitted she once cut all of her hair off herself.
‘Goosebumps’ over CÉCRED ad
Love Island USA fans have “goosebumps” over the CECRED commercial, especially when her beau Kordell pops up in the background to have his hair washed at the same time as Serena.
When she plays a game of This or That, she chooses ‘Bald Zaddy’ over full head of hair, but realises “my man’s hair is full, so full hair,” and says she’d always split the money over keeping it.
One fan wrote in the comments, “Aww they need to be in a hair AD together. Her and Kordell both having their hair washed at the same time gave me goosebumps.”
Love Island star talks villa hair
Serena admits she would lie down on the shower floor in the villa on the verge of tears, due to her hair being tangled and in braids for weeks. She was also told she’d be on Love Island just one week before.
As a result, Serena had to “think of something fast” and after doing research on Fiji’s humidity, she decided the last thing she wanted to do was “fight with some lace [on a wig] there”.
“I usually do my own knotless Bohemian braids, but I went to get it down. I knew the maintenance wouldn’t be much of anything, but I’d be walking around with pins all throughout my head,” she added.
