Love Island USA finalist, Kendall Washington, found out his private nude videos had been leaked after his phone was hacked during his time in the villa. The nudes were publicly shared on social media one day after the Love Island USA finale aired, with both Kendall and his sister promptly addressing the leak.
During his time on the show, Kendall was coupled up with Nicole Jacky who both expressed their love for each other in the final episode, however so far she has remained silent on the leaking situation.
During the romantic moment on Love Island USA, he declared: “Looking back at the moment we first met, still gives me the chills. When I heard the sound of your high heels getting closer to me, you then took my blindfold off me. Until this day, I have never laid eyes on something so beautiful. Nicole Danielle Jacky, when I say these words, I mean them. I love you.”
Kendall shared a statement to his Instagram story, writing: “What a way to get my phone back y’all. I just want to address the content that came out from my past. That was something I shared to someone in confidence and trust. It’s unfortunate that it’s no longer private but it is what it is. I am so grateful for my Love Island experience and I love you all for turning in to watch my journey. Excited for what’s next.”
Kendall’s sister also raced to defend him from “homophobic” abuse and called on the Love Island producers to provide a proper support system for cast members. She wrote: “I do not have the capacity to respond to everyone individually but I appreciate everyone reaching out concerned about Kendall’s mental health. I am too.”
Tagging the Love Island USA Instagram account, she continued: “I really hope y’all have serious mental health resources in place for him so he doesn’t come back from the high of this experience to seeing he’s been unfairly exposed on top of general reality TV backlash.
“If y’all have a history of suicide from people being on your show. I’d really hope you all get a handle on this expeditiously. Private lives should remain private. The weight of this [is] too much for anyone and my heart aches for him immensely.” In the following story, she shared a link to report the content on the platform.”
