Swamp People season 15 fans have not only noticed Ashley ‘Deadeye’ Jones’ transformation on the show, but many are now talking about Joey’s appearance. The History Channel star appears alongside his family members Daniel and Dorien Edgar as they carve out their legacy hunting alligators.
Joey Edgar sparks weight loss rumors
Swamp People viewers haven’t seen Joey, Troy, Ashley, and co for a while. This year, Joey is seen back in his usual spot, hunting alongside his friend and “gator wrangler” Zak Bagby
Since the alligator hunters have returned to the screen, many fans are throwing compliments their way when it comes to their appearance.
Commenting on one of Joey’s Instagram posts, a fan wrote he was “looking good and healthy.”
However, another of Joey’s fans commented on his Facebook post: “Joey looks thinner this season hope all is well!”
More showed concern, writing: “In watching the latest season, noticed Joey has lost an awful lot of weight. Has he been sick? Hope not.”
Swamp People star feels ‘blessed’
It’s clear to see from Swamp People episodes how physically demanding alligator hunting can be.
Judging by Joey’s social media pages, he is hunting a lot of the time with his family – not just on the show.
The reality TV star shares snaps online of himself and his kids hunting deer as well as other animals, including alligators.
Ahead of new Swamp People episodes coming out, Joey shared he was feeling “blessed” for another season of the show.
He wrote on Facebook: “God is good, he’s blessed us with another season! I hope our swamp fans are tuned in watching Swamp People!”
