The Golden Globes 2024 highlighted Hollywood’s finest productions and fashion – but most importantly, the memeable moments of the film industry’s biggest hotshots. We’re talking about Bradley Cooper, who, according to Twitter, accepted his loss with the best hidden disappointed expression they’ve ever seen.

Cooper, 49, failed to scoop the award for Best Actor in a Drama Motion Picture for his role as conductor Leonard Bernstein in the self-directed biopic, Maestro. Instead, it was Cillian Murphy who was honored for Oppenheimer.
It was a disappointing moment for Cooper, but fans couldn’t help but poke fun at the Marvel star’s loss. As Murphy delivered his gracious acceptance speech, cameras panned to Bradley, who could be seen smiling towards the stage. But Twitter laughs that the actor poorly masked his dejected mood.
Bradley claimed he spent a whopping six years learning how to conduct just over six minutes of music in the style of Bernstein to record a crucial scene for Maestro.
“Bradley Cooper’s face is the face of a man about to commit the most heinous crime,” one person joked.
A second user added: “Not Bradley Cooper getting upset that Cillian won CAUSE HIS FACE…”
Others compared it to Homelander, the superhero villain in The Boys:
One person, however, defended Cooper’s “normal” defeated expression:
Bradley Cooper towers over mom Gloria Campano at Golden Globes
Although he didn’t win Best Actor, he certainly won the award for Best Son for taking his mother Gloria Campano as his date. Cooper’s rumored girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, was nowhere to be seen, though her BFF Taylor Swift attended given her nomination for The Eras Tour.
The mother-son duo beamed with delight on the red carpet as they matched in monochrome black ensembles. But it was their immense height difference that caught fans’ eyes.
According to reports, the A-list actor is 6ft 1in, while Campano hits Bradley mid-chest at an alleged 5ft 2in.
This isn’t the first time Gloria accompanied her son; they stepped out at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, the premiere of Joy in 2015, and for the Oscars 2022.
