Olivia Bentley, 28, experienced a career glow-up in season 18 after earning a slot in Cosmopolitan magazine to showcase her photography skills and collaborate on a feature about her battle with alopecia over the years. However, long-standing boyfriend Digby Edgley hasn’t been on the show as much. So, what is going on with Olivia and Digby? And has Digby left Made In Chelsea for good?
Has Digby left Made in Chelsea?
Made In Chelsea nor Digby have confirmed his departure but his appearances have dwindled since 2022. According to IMDb, he last featured in the Bonjour Baby TV special in December 2022 and made his final main show appearance in season 24 episode 9, while Olivia has continued to star in the latest Made In Chelsea: Sydney spinoff.
Digby’s sudden disappearance coincided with Julius Cowdrey’s absence as well, both of which have been unexplained by E4. But an insider told The Sun that they were booted from the show to make space for fresh faces and Edgley’s relationship “had come to an end and didn’t have any love interests on the horizon.”
As for Cowdrey, he is happier than ever with his girlfriend Georgia May Salamat and expressed a desire to settle down away from the cyclone of E4 drama.
“I’ve left the show because I need to focus all my all my energy on what actually is going to be long term for me,” he told the Secure The Insecure podcast. “I’m in a relationship as well now and I’m really happy. Does my life exist on the show anymore? I don’t think it does.”
Why did Digby and Liv break up?
Olivia and Digby split after two years of dating in 2019 during the Croatia spinoff show.
Liv expressed concerns during the season 18 finale over how their relationship would fair once Digby made the move to South Africa. But by November 19, 2019, Edgley hinted at their breakup with a cryptic message.
He took to Instagram to share a snap of himself captioned: “Treat me like a joke and I’ll leave you like it’s funny.”
He’s also no longer following Olivia on Instagram, so it looks like things may not have ended amicably between the pair! Ouch!
Liv has since been linked to Tristan Phipps, co-star David ‘Temps’ Templer, and newbie Hugo Mackenzie-Wood.
