Although Buzz is a relative newbie to Gold Rush, he very quickly became a hit with fans. Gold Rush Buzz Legault’s partner
Buzz Legault joined Gold Rush two years ago. He was recently made foreman within Rick Ness’ mining operation.
Rick was revealed as a returning cast member to season 14 after stepping away from the show and “hitting rock bottom.”
Buzz is making strides in his mining career, but he’s dealing with tragedy in his personal life. His partner, Susi Audy, passed away on November 7, 2023.
Buzz was ‘by her side’
On November 25, Buzz shared a Facebook post containing a eulogy written by Susi’s son.
Jake Audy writes in the post that Buzz was “…there to support and comfort Mum through her grief…” following the loss of her son, Zach.
Susi’s son added: “Buzz took care of her and helped her live a comfortable life out there. She worked in the mining industry.”
Buzz’s late partner’s obituary states that she passed away at the age of 59 after “a courageous battle with cancer,” and Buzz was “by her side.”
