Roisin and Joe on Gogglebox are a couple who live together in Joe’s family home in Glasgow, where they also film the show. In September 2022, Roisin said she and Joe “lived it up in London” in September 2021.
She wrote: “Me and JoJo 1 year ago living it up in London, time flies when you are staying in to save money for cutlery and couch cushions.” However, many viewers think they own the house they film in.
Roisin Kelly, 23, and Joe Kyle, 25, have been together for five years. She was recently pictured with her mum in Machrihanish, Scotland, which is over three hours away from Joe’s family home.
Where do Roisin and Joe live?
Roisin and Joe live in Glasgow, Scotland, having moved in together at the start of the covid lockdown. They are seen sharing snacks while catching up on the latest TV, surrounded by pillows and blankets.
The channel came under pressure to find a Scottish family to appear on the show after MPs demanded the programme reflect the make-up of the country, and sent out a casting call.
Roisin often shares her work outfits in a cosy living room filled with artwork on TikTok, which is a different home to the family house that Joe lives in as seen on Gogglebox.
Inside Roisin and Joe’s jobs
Roisin co-hosts her own podcast called ‘Nags and Brags’ with a friend and also works as a social media producer. She works full-time at BBC Scotland, which explains why she often goes to music events.
The social researcher told BBC: “If you’re somebody who’s not got into uni or not got the grades you wanted, don’t let it put you off. There are a million other ways you can get into doing something like this.”
She said she “never passed maths” and studied practical journalism. Roisin then applied for a BBC apprenticeship scheme – and got the job! Joe keeps his career away from the spotlight.
