Bangers and Cash is a TV show that airs on the Yesterday Channel. The show is centred around Mathewsons, a car-auction business. Mathewsons is a family-run company established in the North Yorkshire village of Thornton-le-Dale.

Sarah Crabtree was a cast member on docuseries Bangers and Mash from 2019 until 2021 according to her LinkedIn page.
Given her passion for classic cars, it made sense for Sarah to be cast for the show and
She writes in her Twitter bio: “The blonde lass on repeats” as she can often be seen on re-runs of the show on the Yesterday Channel.
What happened to Sarah from Bangers and Cash?
Sarah left the Bangers and Cash show in May 2021.
She was an office manager for Mathewsons Classic Cars from November 2016 to October 2020 as per her LinkedIn page and then went on to star in the TV series.
Why did Sarah leave Bangers and Cash?
By the looks of Sarah’s Instagram page, Bangers and Cash came to an end which is why she no longer appears on the show. She captioned a post in May 2021: “Series 4 of ‘Bangers’ has come to an end which means no more Crabbers on the tellybox“.
Sarah’s job in 2022
As of 2022, Sarah has remained in the classic car business and is now Director and Brand Ambassador of Evoke Classics.
As per Sarah’s LinkedIn page, the company was due to launch in October 2021 and outlined their mission as follows: “…to make available a range of historically significant motor cars, all the best example of type you will find for the given model and price.“.
Sarah has a team that works alongside her at Evoke Classics and as per her bio on the Evoke website, she’s “friendly, trustworthy and approachable“.
The classic car expert has a YouTube channel (Sarah ‘Crabbers’ Crabtree) with almost 8k subscribers.
