Fans of First Dates fell head over heels for ‘Northern’ Cindy in season 11 of the Channel 4 dating show.
Coping with the trauma of both her mum and dad becoming critically ill, Cindy went on her first date in two years with charming Elan during the 2018 episode.
Now, Reality Titbit can confirm that Cindy and Elan are engaged! Elan got down on one knee in early May, as the pair confirmed the announcement on Twitter combined with a congratulations video from the First Dates team.

The moment Cindy arrived on First Dates
Olive-skinned and brunette beauty Cindy explained that people were often put off by her strong Northern accent.
Stereotyping the Leeds lass as a “typical” Yorkshire girl with a reputation for drinking a lot and “living in the pub”, Cindy was still waiting to find Mr Right.
Somebody that would cherish her proper Northern ways…
Cindy meets Elan
Cindy met her date, the equally exotic looking Elan, who was half Israeli and half bloody gorgeous.
The pair, dressed in almost matching khaki outfits, soon felt the charm of restaurant manager Fred Sirieix, as he welcomed two of First Dates’ most beautiful guests.
Oh Fred, stop that!
To be fair, they would make some pretty perfect looking babies.
Cindy’s heart-breaking trauma
Hearts poured out for Cindy as she explained to her date that both of her parents went into critical care over a short period of time.
Her mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour, changing Cindy’s life forever as she said no to a job in Switzerland, settling back home in Leeds to be there for her mum.

However, soon after, her dad suffered a stroke.
Teary-eyed in her piece to camera, Cindy explained how her mum is her hero, and always will be.
She said: My mum’s my hero. The treatment was so tough. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy everyday.
But the road ahead is not a simple one for Cindy, as she revealed the brave front needed for the inevitable future.
Team Khaki wedding theme!
Elan comforted and supported Cindy along the way, creating ‘team khaki’ because of their matching outfits.
The #TeamKhaki nickname has followed Cindy and Elan across their romantic journey, with both of their Instagram pages reading “one half of Team Khaki”.
Here’s to the green team and their future marriage!
