SAS: Who Dares Wins – Who does the voice over? Is he famous?

Channel 4 reality series SAS: Who Dares Wins has proved a hit with viewers ever since it premiered in 2015.

Headed by Ant Middleton, a military veteran, the show forces contestants into the mindset of a military officer, as they undergo an unforgiving two-week SAS training camp.

While Ant may be the leading star, the reality show has another celebrity individual – the voice over guy!

Who is the SAS: Who Dares Wins Narrator?

The voice over on Who Dares Wins is performed by Shaun Dooley.

The 44-year-old English actor has been narrating the show since it launched in 2015.

Who is Shaun Dooley?

Shaun is one of few people to appear in both Coronation Street and Eastenders, appearing in the former for 12 months in 1997.

His role in the latter, in which he played Tom Stuart, was a little heftier, appearing between 2001 and 2004.

Outside of the soaps, Shaun also appeared in other television dramas, playing Detective Dick Alderman in all three instalments of the Red Riding trilogy.

Shaun has also worked extensively with the BBC, playing a prominent role in The Street, The White Queen and an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations.

On ITV, he has been seen in Benidorm and the second season of Broadchurch.

Shaun clearly has a real talent in the art of narration.

As well as his voice-over for SAS: Who Dares Wins, Shaun has leant his services to documentaries such as Our War, Space Dive and Richard III: The Princes in the Tower.
