Sorry, but Kendall Jenner can’t model for shit

Kendall Jenner is amazing at posing for the kinds of pictures that earn more than a million likes on Instagram.

Because of her, I am seriously thinking about buying a pair of those tiny sunglasses even though that shit is gonna look dumb as hell on me.

But frankly, it's come to my attention that when a professional photographer gets involved, something goes horribly wrong with Kendall Jenner's "modeling." Against all odds, when it comes time to shoot an actual campaign, the gorgeous, svelte 22-year-old manages to look awkward and uncomfortable every single time.

How are you going to look so fucking upset in every photoshoot when you're literally the highest paid model in the world?

She literally looks like she's being held hostage in this Vogue India photoshoot! Kendall, do you need help? Is your back okay? Do you need to lie down for a second? What are you trying to tell me with these poses?!

Then there's the infamous Star Wars shoot. Obviously, Kendall wasn't the only one who didn't bring it for that one, but her picture is fucking insane. It is so funny that nothing I can say can improve it. It's perfect.

I think about this picture every day.

And honestly, her runway modeling skills are also a little less than stellar. She kind of seems like she's annoyed while stomping around like a Clydesdale up there, like she'd rather be hanging out with Bella Hadid, comparing skin luminescence or whatever they talk about.

I am far from the only person to critique Kendall's modeling skills. There are literally dozens of tweets lamenting the fact that her ass would've been kicked off of ANTM on Episode 1, and the joke doesn't even get old because it's fucking true.

Watching this Boomerang (?) makes me feel like I'm high, but not in a fun way.

And the thing that makes all of this so infuriating is that Kendall Jenner isn't a normal person, and the fact that she was able to seamlessly transition to modeling on her name alone is really shitty for normal, non-famous girls trying to break into the industry.

Modeling isn't an easy job, and I'm not claiming I'd be a better model than she is — but I'm 100 percent sure that there are a shitload of people out there who would.

Kendall doesn't bring any kind of diversity to the table in terms of her look or her attitude: she's skinny, white, and very conventionally attractive. And while there's obviously nothing inherently wrong with that, it's tough to root for someone like an underdog when they've got nothing but privilege.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was pushed into modeling by Kris because she's the lankiest child Kris has at her disposal. Maybe, like Kylie, she longs for a simpler life, where she can express herself through other mediums, like interpretive dance or something else that doesn't involved making me nervous and the rest of the internet nervous with one dead-eyed editorial after another.
