  • Mary Wilson is the TikTok editor for The Liverpool Tab. She creates engaging content catered for Liverpool students and the wider student population. In addition to this, she is a student contributor, writing articles mainly centred around student life.
  • Mary's journalistic passions span a wide array of topics, such as fashion, dance music, gigs, literature, art and general student life. Her work reflects her favourite hobbies, which include going to raves, museums, finding cute coffee and book shops, and of course the best charity shops!
  • Aside from this, Mary is the co-host and producer for a podcast and radio show, Liv and Mary’s Magical Mystery Tour. She is the reader's response columnist for Sleeve Magazine and is a music journalist for Boot Music.

Experience

Mary joined The Tab in 2024 when she started her second year at the University of Liverpool. Prior to this, Mary was published in her sixth form's academic journal, The Gateway, which was entered into a local competition. She is also a writer for Sleeve Magazine, Boot Music and is the co-host and producer for her radio show and podcast, Liv and Mary’s Magical Mystery Tour.

Education

Mary is a second-year undergraduate student in Liverpool, studying English Literature, which she is a student representative for. She hopes to gain experience in journalism, radio and the art industry before she graduates!
