Experience

Hugo joined the News Team at The Tab in 2023. He writes articles around topical news as well as political and social developments in Edinburgh. He seeks issues that are contentious and pertinent, recently writing about the protests around the war in Israel and Palestine. In addition to his position at The Tab, he sits on the Board of Senior Editors for the Edinburgh Student Literary Journal and is involved with student Theatre and Film.

Education

Hugo studies English Literature at The University of Edinburgh, taking electives in Economics, Law and Finance to broaden his academic horizons and gain more versatile knowledge about the world.
