Gypsy Rose Blanchard shares her petition for Kenan’s Law following Ken Urker’s death
She’s calling for change to online harassment rules
Gypsy Rose Blanchard is calling for changes to the way social media platforms deal with online harassment following the death of her former fiancé, Ken Urker.
Blanchard, 35, has launched a campaign for a proposed piece of legislation called Kenan’s Law, which she says would focus on improving how platforms respond when users repeatedly report harassment.

As part of her campaign, she shared screenshots on Instagram which she described as evidence from a much larger log documenting what she says was years of cyberbullying, ridicule and targeted harassment involving Urker. However, Blanchard stressed that the screenshots she shared represent only a small part of what she says was collected.
Urker was found unresponsive at a home in Louisiana on 1st October, his 34th birthday, according to Page Six. He was reportedly discovered by a family member after he did not respond to a birthday message from Blanchard.
Blanchard previously told TMZ that her “forever soulmate” had died from an overdose. His official cause of death has not been confirmed.
In her Instagram caption, Blanchard said she was asking for support for Kenan’s Law “in honor of Ken”, describing the proposed legislation as an attempt to change how social media companies respond to repeated reports of harassment.

She wrote: “In honor of Ken, I am asking for your support for Kenan’s Law,” adding that it would focus on “changing the way social-media platforms handle repeated reports of harassment”.
Blanchard said the loss had made her “determined to turn pain into purpose”.
“I cannot change what happened, but I can advocate for a better system for the next person who feels like no one is listening,” she wrote.
She also shared a link to a Change.org petition calling for support for the proposed law.
“Behind the screen was a real person. A father and partner. Someone who was loved. Kenan’s Law is about turning awareness into change. It is about recognizing the cumulative impact of cyberbullying and pushing for stronger protections and accountability online. This evidence log isn’t the whole story. It isn’t even a fraction of it.
