12 of The Celebrity Traitors season two cast asked to be Traitors, and six to be Faithfuls

Season two of The Celebrity Traitors is underway, and Claudia Winkleman has selected the first two Traitors. However, as we only see snippets from Claudia’s interviews with the cast on TV, we didn’t get to see whether all the celebrities actually wanted to be Traitors or Faithfuls.

Thankfully, some of the deleted footage has dropped on iPlayer, so we now know exactly who wanted to be Traitors, who wanted to be Faithfuls, and who couldn’t decide.

Claudia Winkleman rejected 10 celebrities as Traitors

Most of The Celebrity Traitors season two cast tried to be Traitors. Amol Rajan, Bella Ramsey, Jerry Hall, Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Myha’la, Rob Beckett and Sebastian Croft all asked.

Bella Ramsey reckoned they’d fare better in the game as a Traitor, as they see themselves as more of an observer than a talker. Most celebrities seemed to just want the opportunity to be evil.

Obviously, Maya Jama and Richard E. Grant both asked Claudia Winkleman if they could be Traitors (and their wishes were granted).

Woah, no wonder James looked so stressed when The Traitors summoned him into that chapel.

Three cast members couldn’t make up their minds

Ross Kemp didn’t have a preference over which role he played, he just hoped to show people he had some “levity” inside him.

King Kenny couldn’t decide whether he’d rather be a Traitor or a Faithful. Although, he did define himself as a “team player” since he used to literally play on a rugby team.

Michael Sheen was also unable to make up his mind. He felt that he’d like being in control and “in the thick of it” if he were a Traitor, but worried it would be stressful.
