Our Celebrity Traitors predictions include Maya Jama turning on her fellow Traitors

The first episode of Celebrity Traitors has given us enough clues to start making some absolutely wild predictions about what could happen next.

Obviously, we have no idea how this is going to pan out. But after watching 21 celebrities arrive at the castle, make alliances and throw accusations around, here are our completely speculative predictions for the rest of the series.

Richard E Grant will somehow survive his own traitor reveal

Richard E Grant has already come dangerously close to exposing himself, so surely there is no way he makes it to the end as a traitor? Wrong.

We reckon his complete lack of subtlety could actually become his biggest weapon. If he keeps behaving like an eccentric man who has simply lost the plot, the castle could eventually decide that nobody would be stupid enough to behave like that if they were genuinely a traitor.

He could accidentally talk his way out of being caught several times before everyone finally realises what has been happening right under their noses.

Ross Kemp will become convinced the wrong person is a traitor

Ross Kemp has already shown he can take charge, so we predict he’ll eventually become the unofficial leader of a very serious investigation into the traitors.

Unfortunately, we think he might be spectacularly wrong. He’ll put together a watertight case, convince half the castle and send an innocent celebrity packing, only for the real traitors to sit there silently enjoying every second.

Hannah Fry will work out something nobody else has noticed

Fry has already described herself as “dripping with prefect energy”, and we think that could become increasingly useful.

At some point, she’ll spot a tiny pattern in the murders, missions or voting that everyone else has completely missed. She’ll explain it calmly, nobody will listen, and then three episodes later everyone will realise she was right.

Myha’la will become the dark horse

Myha’la’s plan to appear “doughy-eyed, fun, and maybe a little naïve” could be exactly the sort of strategy that gets someone surprisingly far.

We predict she’ll initially fly under the radar before suddenly becoming one of the most influential people in the castle. And if she ends up as a traitor? Good luck to everyone else.

Maya will turn on Richard to save herself

We reckon Maya could eventually decide Richard is simply too much of a liability to keep around. He’s already been dangerously close to exposing himself, and if the faithfuls start seriously suspecting him, Maya could quietly help push the theory along to protect her own cover.

She might even pretend she’s been suspicious of him all along, letting the castle take out her fellow traitor while she sits back and looks innocent. Richard, meanwhile, would probably have absolutely no idea he’d just been sacrificed by his own teammate.
