There are even more GTA 6 leaks, so here’s what’s in them and why it’s so bad for Rockstar

This is so chaotic

It’s the third day of GTA 6 leaks, and there are even more details being revealed, so here’s what we know so far and why it spells trouble for Rockstar.

Over the past few days, a hacker known only as Cyberleak has been slowly releasing footage from the highly anticipated game GTA 6. As each leak drops, it reveals even more sensitive content, starting off as short, low-quality location hints and escalating to unseen game mechanics.

Cyberleak has blackmailed Rockstar, threatening to release more gameplay footage unless they meet their demands. The hacker wants a physical release of GTA 6 and is strongly against digital-only games.

“No consumer shall have to pay for a game through digital stores before its launch and before independent reviews exist. Physical pre-orders of tangible media will continue to be permitted,” their open letter to Rockstar said.

Here’s what the GTA 6 leaks actually show

In the newest leaks, the gameplay footage appears to show more polished combat animations, a stamina meter, focus stats and vehicle interactions. There’s also a plane video that offers a clearer look at the location and reveals that the hacker apparently has a build of the game, not just footage. This means they could leak the entire storyline and ending.

The leakers don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon, posting polls asking GTA fans what they should release next and further reassuring Rockstar to buckle under their demands. Throughout the whole drama, though, Rockstar has remained eerily quiet.

Next Thursday, Rockstar will release Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look on Netflix. They haven’t officially announced what this will include and how long it will be, but we’ll finally be able to get some real official hints at what the game will look like.
