Inside Blac Chyna’s split from her ex as she sparks romance rumours with Rob Kardashian

Blac Chyna has sparked reconciliation rumours with Rob Kardashian after confirming her and Derrick Milano split back in July. If you’re as confused as I am, fear not, because we’re about to dive into exactly what happened between them, and why they split.

Basically, Blac Chyna and Derrick Milano announced a split in July 2025, stating a month later that the sudden break-up was “not due to infidelity but because they were going in different directions in life, focusing on their individual paths, children, and spirituality.”

Derrick proposed to Chyna back in October 2024, and the two featured their relationship on WE tv series, Love & Hip Hop. But it was less than a year later that they wrote in a shared statement on Instagram that they “love each other deeply and are good friends”.

We all know that Chyna shares a nine-year-old daughter, Dream, with Rob, so despite her literally trying to sue his sisters not too long ago, it seems they may have reconciled. They infamously broke up in mid-2017 after a year and a half of serious drama.

In 2022, Chyna lost a $100 million defamation suit against the Kardashians. Yet she shocked us all when she recently said that she’d “absolutely” rather have two more children with Rob over her ex, rapper Tyga, who she shares 13-year-old son King Cairo, with.

“Me and Robert… we’re healing, and we’re communicating, and we’re just going with the flow,” she told TMZ, noting that if God wants it to be, “then it will be something.” She said: “Robert is so funny. He’s actually, like, hilarious,” adding that they’re working on themselves.

The comments follow her Instagram post last week, in which she captioned a series of photos of herself: “This love is forever ♾️ @robkardashianofficial.” He’s been mostly AWOL on socials and TV, but is now featuring on the new season of The Kardashians.
