Lamar Odom is STILL messaging Khloe since filming their reunion on The Kardashians

Lamar Odom walked in to meet Khloe Kardashian, his ex from years ago, for the first time. Her bestie Malika Haqq set them up after bumping into him, but it only led to a really tense conversation about Lamar breaking Khloe’s trust when they got married. He’s still messaging her now, according to sources, but she’s still not looking to date.

Khloe Kardashian still receives texts from Lamar

Khloe Kardashian continues to receive texts from Lamar Odom after they filmed The Kardashians together several months ago. He’s openly said it would be an honor just to be Khloe’s friend, but many people watching the show are convinced they are meant to be, but just got married at the wrong time in their lives.

She’s reportedly cut off all contact with her first husband, who “can’t fathom” what he done to her when they were together. Khloe told him during the episode about how a “lie hurts a thousand times” before they went on to speak about how he almost overdosed in a Los Angeles brothel during their marriage fallout.

Lamar soon referred to her as “my wife,” and she quickly snapped in response, “calm down.” She then told cameras: “I have dealt with so much trauma in this relationship, and this was the love of my life. To learn how to unlove someone, to have to go through that – it’s almost like a death. So him calling me his wife, I mean, words are empty.”

He wants to be friends – and she loves single life

Khloe has said on her podcast, Khloe in Wonderland, that she isn’t actively dating right now. She’s happy being a mom to her kids, True and Tatum Thompson, but is open to a potential romance in the future. Now she’s 40 years old, Khloe has had her fair share of failed relationships, but hasn’t let them affect her belief in love.

Her reunion with Lamar was “all staged for a good storyline,” a source told The Sun. They said the relationship between the exes “hasn’t gone any further” after he was “escorted out the door.” The source added: “It just makes her uncomfortable, especially when he was slipping up and calling her his wife. She just wanted to get him out of there.”

“He has reached out to Khloe a few times on messages, but she doesn’t want to engage,” they continued, saying they’d never have reunited off-camera, even though Lamar insists he had no idea their reunion was going to be filmed on the show. He’s since apologised to her for how he acted during their seven-year marriage.
