Kim Kardashian showed how excruciatingly TIGHT her Met Gala corset was and it’s ridiculous

Kim Kardashian is prepared to do anything for fashion, even if it is crushing her ribs into a corset for the Met Gala. She squeezed herself into Marilyn Monroe’s tight dress the previous year, after a few demanding calls made by momager Kris Jenner, and somehow, she scored the outfit, but in 2024, in true Kim fashion, she done everything she could to prepare.

Kim’s Met Gala corset looked like it was crushing her ribs on The Kardashians. Marilyn’s JFK Birthday dress was certainly too small for her the previous year, and wouldn’t do up around her hourglass figure. But a year later, she went to just as crazy lengths, and has now revealed on The Kardashians how she “couldn’t breathe” in the extreme corset.

Her body was left with red raw marks from the corset, which was part of her custom Margiela by John Galliano look. She said she was “going to throw up” as she panicked about how tight it was, which was all in aid of the Met Gala’s Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion theme, in which Kim wore a floral-printed silver corset, which included a lace train.

She claimed she’s “not as confident as she might look” when she first tried it on, but three hours later, she’d “never been in this much pain in my life” and required urgent assistance to get the corset off. And this is coming from the girl whose had the tip of her finger rip off, broken multiple bones, and given birth!

Kim dyed her hair blonde, which made it super frazzled, as she showed while taking off a wig during The Kardashians season six episode 1. And despite the pain she was in, Kim didn’t have any regrets about wearing the corset. When a producer asked her if the pain was “worth it,” she responded: “Abso-f***ing-lately. Yes. That’s just who I am. If you look good, it is all worth it.”

It wasn’t just the corset causing difficulties, either. Kim wore tall invisible shoes with no heel so the metal from her outfit wouldn’t catch on them. Even her sister Khloe Kardashian was in awe at her bold outfit choice, and commented: “That invisible heel is wild! How did you manage? I definitely would have fallen.”
