Big Brother Tory Emily is beefing with Danny Beard after he made joke about her migrant views

After she was evicted, Danny said ‘It’s funny that we’re sending her back to where she came from’

Big Brother UK 2025 started with a massive twist – a housemate would be evicted just hours after they walked in there. Thankfully, the housemate to get that shameful verdict was Tory mouthpiece Emily Hewertson – a controversial casting for the show not just because of her views but because she was already a well known person online with a huge platform. The 160,000 followers didn’t count for much though, because Emily was unceremoniously booted by Sam and Caroline after the three of them ended up in the dregs of the cast. After Emily was booted from Big Brother UK 2025 – Drag Race winner and CBB finalist Danny Beard made a savage comment about her on Late and Live and they’re now beefing after she clapped back.

Danny’s comment on Late and Live went viral

In the episode of Late and Live that directly followed Emily’s eviction from Big Brother UK 2025, Danny Beard made a jab at Emily and kicked off their beefing ways after saying “It’s funny that we’re sending her back to where she came from, isn’t it? Not ironic at all.” This was a dig at Emily’s controversial views on immigration, which she’s bellowed loudly on the internet for years.

Emily branded it ‘lefty double standards’

Emily then responded to the drama in an interview with The Sun on its TikTok. Emily said “Well firstly, I’m actually seeing Danny Beard later on Late and Live – so we’ll be coming head to head. But realistically, if I had said that to somebody, there would be absolute outrage. So yet again, it’s just classic lefty double standards really. I wouldn’t say that to somebody. I’ve never said that to somebody in my life.

“Would he say that to Kemi Badenoch? I’m sure he wouldn’t. So to have those double standards is just classic lefty intolerance and you know what – bring it on. He doesn’t know me and he knows what Big Brother’s like so it’s a bit of a shame that he’s jumping on the band wagon. It’s not an original joke – I’ve seen that joke already 100 times on Twitter before.”

Yikes. Can’t help but love Danny Beard though – one drag queen you never want to face off again. Even if you’re an outspoken Tory.
