Viral video claiming Celeste Rivas was at D4vd’s concert last month has now been debunked

September has been dominated by one of the most harrowing and as of yet unexplained stories of the year. At the start of the month, a body was found in the Tesla registered to singer D4vd. His spokesperson officially said at the time D4vd had been made aware and was fully cooperating with the investigation. D4vd continued performing on his tour dates until a week later the body was identified as 15 year old Celeste Rivas – who had been reported missing for a year beforehand. After a property D4vd had been staying at was searched and evidence seized, the tour was cancelled and D4vd has not said a thing since. No one has been named a suspect officially and no arrest has been made. Since the news broke, information has been pieced together about how D4vd and Celeste Rivas potentially knew each other – and a video went viral claiming she was seen on a balcony at his concert a month ago. This has now been reportedly debunked.

The video showed a girl who resembled Celeste on a balcony

Clips went viral of a girl who resembled Celeste Rivas on the balcony at a D4vd concert, taken August 24th at his Silver Spring concert. The original claim was that this was D4vd’s brother and Celeste.

TMZ’s Charles Latibeaudiere said initially: “There’s a woman in the balcony who he actually acknowledged, looks up at her. She certainly could have been Celeste. It looked like it.”

However, Latibeaudiere later added:  “We have been told by a source who is connected to the case that it is not Celeste.”

Explaining why no arrest has been made after Celeste Rivas was found dismembered and in a state of decomposition in the Tesla register to D4vd, there are reasons as to why. “Law enforcement does not have the answers they want in order to be able to confront or question D4vd,” Legal expert Brian Buckmire said. “Especially without an autopsy report as to the cause and manner of death.”

Whilst no arrest has yet been made for the reasons said by the legal expert, D4vd has faced some consequences surrounding the death of Celeste Rivas. He has had to cancel his tour, artists like Kali Uchis are working to remove their song together from streaming and a deluxe version of his album which was set to release last Friday has been indefinitely delayed.
