‘So pathetic’: Awkward moment in Liam and Millie’s last podcast episode showed huge cracks

In a clip that was posted on the same day the split was announced, the couple had an argument

Yesterday, it was revealed that Love Island couple Millie Court and Liam Reardon had split up for the second time. Many of us thought after the pair got back together they were endgame, but a clip from their podcast together says otherwise.

After getting back together, Millie and Liam started a podcast together, literally called Liam & Millie. One clip, that was awkwardly posted on the day it was announced they’d broken up, showed them disagreeing a lot about the given topic.

“I’ve actually cried most birthdays because I’ve been disappointed with what people have done,” Millie said. Liam replied: “That is so pathetic. That is pathetic.” Millie then explained: “I’m very different to Liam.”

She said she didn’t mean “materialistic wise or presents” but when people don’t “show up” for her on her birthday. Millie then told a story of one year when all but one of her friends cancelled on her, on her birthday. Millie then shared further stories of reasons why she has cried on her birthdays before.

Liam then rolled his eyes at Millie saying her birthday is “never special” and said: “You always have bloody nice stuff done for you on your birthday.” He rolled his eyes again, and added: “It is just another day you know.”

In the comments, everyone is saying they can now see why they broke up. “I get why they have broken up,” one person said. Another added: “Wow Liam sounds so unsupportive and dismissive.” Others noted Liam looked “done” with the relationship. “Maybe one of the reasons they broke up,” someone said.

When the split was announced, a source told The Sun: “Millie and Liam have tried so hard to make their relationship work. But unfortunately, the distance was just too difficult, and they have sadly ended their relationship for a second time. Obviously, they’ve worked things out before, so friends are hoping this might just be a blip as it’s all still very fresh. But right now they are spending time apart. Everyone who loves them hopes they can work it out.”

According to an insider, it was Liam who initiated the breakup. “[He] just wasn’t feeling it towards the end, and it was he who instigated the breakup. Millie is gutted but is being a trouper and getting on with life, supported by her girls,” they told MailOnline.
