A deep dive into which 2025 Love Islanders aren’t following Meg and Dejon on Instagram

Love Island 2025 might be off our TVs, but now the drama is shifting to Instagram instead. So, here’s a thorough investigation into which Love Island 2025 cast members are actually following Meg and Dejon on Instagram now. Plus, extensive speculation as to why some people are being snubbed.

The Love Islanders didn’t rush to follow Dejon and Meg

Dejon and Meg appear to have followed pretty much everyone from the Love Island villa on Instagram after they got back to the UK. The Sun reported that only Tony and Shakira followed Meg and Dejon back. But now a fair few Love Islanders do seem to be following them.

Once she emerged from the villa, Yas followed pretty much all the Love Islanders apart from Dejon and Meg. Ouch. But she seems to have had a change of heart, because as of this morning, she is following both of them.

Dejon and Meg followed, like, a gazillion Islanders

Meg and Dejon both follow pretty much everyone from Love Island 2025, including miscellaneous Casa Amor people: Alima, Andrada, Angel, Ben, Billykiss, Blu, Cach, Conor, Emily, Giorgio, Harrison, Helena, Jamie, Lauren, Lucy, Megan, Poppy, Remell, Shakira, Shea, Sophie Lee, Tommy, Toni, Ty, and Yas.

Neither of them follow Caprice, Chris, Martin, Rheo, or Ryan. I guess they didn’t interact with them very much in the villa.

Meg is not following Boris or Will. But that might be because she forgot they existed, not because she’s deliberately blanking them.

Dejon also doesn’t follow Emma, Malisha or Sophie Lee.

Not everyone follows Dejon and Meg

Boris hasn’t bothered to follow Meg. But he does follow Dejon. This is pretty surprising, but Boris was actually on Love Island for a solid two weeks. He must have spent a fair bit of time with Meg?

Will also follows Dejon, but not Meg. No idea why.

Chris doesn’t follow Meg or Dejon. But to be fair, he was on Love Island for a whole two days.

Caprice, Martin, Rheo and Ryan don’t follow Meg or Dejon, even though they’re following quite a lot of the other cast members.

Malisha and Sophie Lee follow Meg back, but don’t follow Dejon.

Emma doesn’t follow Dejon. The two of them don’t appear to be on the best of terms. Emma hasn’t been very complimentary about Dejon since she left the villa. She said on the Spill With Will podcast: “I do question his intentions. I really felt funny around him. Out of everyone in the villa, that was the only one that I avoided. Something in my gut was telling me, ‘Leave that man alone.’

“He does seem calculated. And even on the first day I met him, he was putting the other bombshells that had come in down, right off the get-go. He never even said hello to me either.”

Well, I’m relieved the Love Island drama is continuing beyond the actual show. What else is there to do with our time?
