This is what Amy Bradley ‘would look like now’ at 50 years old, according to ChatGPT

New images could be the key to solving the case

It’s been 27 years since Amy Bradley disappeared from a Caribbean cruise in March 1998, and new ChatGPT pictures reveal what the 23-year-old could look like now.

She was last seen on her cabin balcony on board the Royal Caribbean International cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas, and nobody knows what happened to her.

In 2017, the FBI released some images of what they think Amy Bradley would look like at 42 years old, but they are sketches that don’t actually look like a real person.

One person on TikTok decided to use ChatGPT instead to try and find out what she would look like now at 50 years old, and the image is so much more realistic.

What Amy Bradley could look like now, according to ChatGPT

The viral picture, which has had more than 400,000 views, shows a woman with the same features as the missing 23-year-old, but visibly a lot older.

She has long brown hair and wrinkles, but you can see that her eyes, nose and mouth are very similar.

We asked ChatGPT for another photo of Amy Bradley at 50

The Tab asked ChatGPT for another image of what Amy Bradley would look like now, using the official portrait of her that is on the FBI’s missing persons page.

“I can help generate an age-progressed version of the woman in this photo to approximate what she might look like at age 50,” the AI chatbot said. “To do that, I’ll apply age progression techniques based on typical ageing patterns, like changes in skin texture, facial shape, and hair colour.”

It shows a very similar face, but with shorter hair that is slightly grey. She is wearing the same clothes as in the original photo.

People think AI could help solve the 27-year case

On TikTok, some people are arguing that AI chatbots could help solve the Amy Bradley case, by giving everyone a realistic depiction of what she could look like now.

However, others think it’s too hard to know what she would look like, and ChatGPT doesn’t take into account the difficult life she may have lived.

Amy’s parents believe she was a victim of sex trafficking and are convinced she is still alive, after photos of a woman resembling her appeared on a sex worker site.
