They’re here, and they’re angry: Introducing the jilted exes of the Love Island 2025 cast

Every year, people come forward and say their exes are appearing on Love Island, and the 2025 crop of disgruntled former flames are here in a big way.

From the moment the latest Islanders were announced, people have said they had that stomach drop moment when they realised it was someone they used to be seeing. Or even worse, someone they still thought they had something going with. There have been exes issuing stark warnings to the people they’re now coupled up with, to people claiming they were dumped for the villa.

It’s a real mess. So, here’s a rundown of all the exes of Love Island 2025 cast members who have spoken out whilst the show has been on.

Sophie Lee used to date former Islander Ouzy, and he wasn’t impressed about her being on the show

Sophie only managed a day in the villa, but I’m sure she’ll be fine, because she has countless Islander connections to keep her in the industry. One of which is Ouzy, from Love Island 2023, who she used to date. Apparently, he wasn’t much too happy about her following him onto the show.

According to The Sun, a close friend to Ouzy said: “Ouzy was really shocked and blindsided to see Sophie had signed up for Love Island. He was gutted because he feels like there is still unfinished business between the two of them. While they aren’t dating anymore, he thinks she’s an amazing girl and they ended on good terms.

Harry apparently had a ‘secret girlfriend’ before Love Island, and told her he was going on holiday

Harry found himself in hot water as soon as he was announced as part of the cast. An ex of his spoke out, and basically said he ditched her to go on the show and she had no idea.

“I was dating Harry until the moment he sat on the flight going to Love Island,” she told The Sun. “He told me he was going to Bali and I genuinely thought we had a future together, but no. I’m not the only girl he’s done this too. Turns out he was dating a few people at once.

“He called me for three hours before he jetted off to Love Island, and told me he was going to Bali to build a life for our family. It’s so scary how he lied to me, and I feel so broken. I’ve been completely blindsided by him. I also got a call from another girl after it came to light that he was going on the show, and she said he’d been dating her for seven months, at the same time that he was dating me.”

Speaking to The Tab prior to Love Island, Harry said there is an element of truth to what’s been said. But, he assured us there was “nothing serious” going on with anyone he was dating before the show.

“I’ve dated people leading up to the show,” he admitted. “I couldn’t tell anyone I was dating that I was going on the show.” He said they weren’t in a relationship, so “it wasn’t a dumping.” He added: “I did tell her I was going away for the summer, yeah.”

There have been some screenshots circulating, allegedly messages with an ex of Ben’s. The pictures alongside the texts are real, and show him with an ex girlfriend. The woman in the pictures is called Chloe, and The Tab has confirmed she dated Ben in 2023.

Texts, claiming to be from Ben to Chloe, read: “Realistically I’m not finding my wife on there so you haven’t gotta worry about that. It’s a summer of fun which comes with a load of benefits and just makes sense.” He went on to say “nothing is serious” on Love Island, and Islanders “do not care about love they just know what opportunity could be coming their way”. The final message added: “How can I forget about you.”

It’s not been confirmed if the messages are even real, and a number of posts about them have been deleted. So, I’d take it with a pinch of salt. Messy if true, but not definitely true.

Dejon’s ex has spoken out about him since he’s been in the villa

A woman claiming to be Dejon’s ex has posted a TikTok about their relationship, whilst he’s been in the villa. She explained they started dating around March, and were “talking for a few months” before he was in the villa, which has left her “confused”.

She said: “We dated for like a month I would say, but it was a very intense month in the sense that we would send each other good mornings, good nights.” I’m not sure that’s exactly “intense”, but sure.

She then went on to say they didn’t communicate well, and branded Dejon a red flag. “At the beginning we actually had a bit of a little misunderstanding,” she said. “Nothing too major, but the way he just communicated it to me, and the emotional intelligence that he was showing me. I was like, ‘Whoa, like where did you come from?’ Dejon was giving me just red flags after red flags.”

She later gave a warning to Meg, and said: “Girl don’t get fooled. He’s just playing his cards really really well.” Yikes.

New bombshell Poppy dumped her ex right before Love Island 2025

Poppy just joined the show as one of four bombshells. According to reports, she dumped her ex just one week before joining the villa.

An insider told The Sun: “Her split came with her ex came out of the blue – her boyfriend wasn’t expecting it at all. She’s a smart girl and is likely heading into the villa with a game plan.” Ouch.
