TikToker Khaby Lame breaks silence after being detained by ICE in US
He’s the world’s most followed TikTok content creator
Khaby Lame, TikTok’s most followed content creator, has broken his silence after he was detained by ICE in the United States.
This comes as Donald Trump has cracked down on people remaining in the US illegally.
It was also announced last month that ICE officials should be making 3,000 arrests per day across the agency.
But, what does this have to do with Khaby Lame?
Well, Khaby had been visiting the United States recently, and was detained for allegedly violated immigration laws. He then left the US voluntarily late last week.
An ICE spokesperson said: “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Seringe Khabane Lame, 25, a citizen of Italy, June 6, at the Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada for immigration violations.
“Lame entered the United States April 30 and overstayed the terms of his visa. Lame was granted voluntary departure June 6 and has since departed the U.S.”
However, since then the 25-year-old has been back on social media.
On Monday 10th June, Khaby shared a photo of him with a group of friends in Sao Paulo, including AC Milan player, Emerson Royal.

In the photo, the group are stood in front of a car on a cloudy day, all posing for the camera.
It’s no surprise Khaby is hanging out with famous footballers as the Italian-born social media star currently has 162.2 million followers on TikTok. He is known for posting videos silent comedy content and reactions to life hacks.
Khaby also shared a photo from his time in LA, which shows the beach as the sun goes down, as well as another video to his Instagram Story which appears to have been taken in Brazil.
